Wonderful Day

Well I can officially say I am now 33! What a wonderful day it was spent with family. Right now birthdays don't bother me, one day I am sure they will! We had a great weekend, hope you all did too??? Eric and I got to go out Saturday night with James and Stacy to eat at Sho Guns and to a movie. We also made a pit stop at the mall where I got a new wallet and Stacy got a super cute green purse!! We had a really nice evening, thanks Carter's!! On my birthday, I got to sleep in and then we went over to Eric's parents where my mother-in-law made fried chicken, mashed potato's, corn casserole, green beans, mac-n-cheese, and hot rolls, ummm gooood!!! Then we had strawberry cake and ice cream. Then later my parents came over and we had pizza and red velvet cake, umm good too!!! Isn't it funny how the older you get, food is more fun!! Those are your memories of your birthdays! Madi wanted to know when my party was, if we were going to have it somewhere like the skating ring?!?!  Then she wanted to know where all my presents were, "the one's with paper on them???". I told her, when you get older, you like the card kind with green stuff in it!! I had a great birthday and can't wait to see what this year will bring!

Everyone have a great week! I hope you may all see God's work this week somewhere in your life!
Thank You for all the birthday wishes, such wonderful friends!!

Lunch Date

We had a lunch date today with the Carter family! We met up to have lunch at the mall, where the kids tested out the hurricane booth. Stacy and I really thought about doing it, but was afraid it would mess our hair up!! Ha, since it rained all day, so much for hair! We had Blazin' Burrito, Geno's, and the Hamburger Barn. Everyone wants something different! Then we got cookies and headed over to watch "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", or "Diarrhea of a Wimpy Kid" per Peyton!! It was such a cute movie, I think me and Stacy laughed more then the kids did!! Overall we had a great day! We had dinner tonight at Gregory's with my parents, butterfinger pie Shannon!!! So not diet food! Tristan is getting to have a sleep over at Braxton's, because they didn't get to see each other long enough today. I went and bought "The Blind Side" and we are fixing to sit and watch it, such a good movie! I hope everyone is having a little fun this week!
Peyton looks like he just won at the casino!
Inside the hurricane simulator, you can tell by Madi's hair. It was like 75 miles per hour.
Standing beside the Transformer car in the mall.
Stacy and I- Really not a good pic of me, not a very good angle coming from a 9yr old's level! But Stacy looks good! We never go anywhere without a cup do we?!?!

When I got home, I had a new counter top and sinks and faucets in the bathroom!! Finally! Hopefully I will have pics of a finished bathroom soon!!

Boys Weekend

Greetings all!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend??? I did! I was home all alone with Madi and Coop for the weekend, and we ate out a lot with my parents, went shopping, and slept in!! It was nice!! The boys had an all boy weekend camping. Better them then me! Ha! They loaded up and left out Friday evening with the Carter boys and Mr. TS. They returned late Sunday night and I think they had a really great time hiking and mountain bike riding. They hit several National Parks in Arkansas. Their weather was better then the snow we got here!!
Braxton, Peyton, Mr. Eric, Tatum, Tristan
I think Tatum slept a lot in the car! Don't know how he could with those other 3 boys talking all the time!
I have never heard of this park, but they said it was really nice. It was the park they did a lot of riding at.
Nimrod Dam
This is where they camped at. Evidentally, Tristan tried to get them kicked out by cutting wood too early in the morning! The people in the tent next to them were yelling at him to "cut it out"! She finally just gave up and got up and went to the bathhouse. Quiet hours were over, so they were in the right.
Peyton, Braxton, Tristan, Tatum
Ahh, eating outside which always taste better for some reason, except, that they were eating "dry" sandwiches, no mayo, mustard, ketchup, nothin', just meat and bread, yummm!!! They forgot all of it in the fridge at the camper.
I think this was the most excited Tristan ever got in any pics, he doesn't like his pic taken, guess he was having a moment!

I think he looks a little scared!!! Concentrate, concentrate.....
This is a great bunch of boys. I hope they had a great weekend and made memories!

Hope everyone has a great spring break week. Enjoy it! Hope you all have a blessed week!!!

The Coopster

This post is memories for a mommy, aka me. I just want to take the time to remember some of these moments of this little guy. He is the little guy I spend my days with, and I couldn't wish for anything more. Coop is so different then the other two, he gets into everything, he jumps on furniture, he figures out how to climb up and get stuff off of shelves. Those that know Tristan and Madi know's that is not the way they were! They were kind of the "mother may I" kind of kids, Tristan still is. But if you keep having kids, your bound to get one that will do all these things! He is just at the age where they are so funny and learning so much, talking so much, it really is a fun age and it goes by so fast. Here are a few snapshots I have taken of my litte Coopster lately, he is a ham.
His shamrock hat he made at school.
He always wears goggles, maybe not the right way, but safety first is his motto.
Sporting his cowboy hat and his didi with his lip turned in.
This is usually what I get when I get the camera out...when do they learn to do this???
His dad thinks it's funny to fix his hair weird. I wonder what Eric would look like with his hair done this way??
This is Coop on most mornings laying watching "twains" aka Chuggington.
This is fuzzy, but so cute I think!
These are his new Cars pjs, he is crazy about Cars! We watch in the car about twice a day, by the time we wait in line. He tells them each, nite nite.

When we decided to have a third child, I had mixed emotions about it, I just knew it would be hard with three, but now I can't imagine not having this little Coopster in my life!

Weekend Fun

Greetings all this lovely Sunday evening!! I hope everyone has had a great weekend and enjoying a little extra daylight this evening, and a little less sleep last night! We have had a great weekend here at our house. Friday night it was dinner with the parents and a sleepover for Madi and Coop at Memaw's house, yeah for me! Coop still doesn't sleep all night, he gets up every night between 1:45 and 2:15, like an alarm goes off in his room, luckily he goes right back to sleep, but this mommy would appreciate it if he would sleep all night! Then Saturday morning I was up and ready at 7am to hit the road to Tulsa for some spring shopping with Stacy and Jenn. We made a day of it, we had bags of stuff for the kids, but when you get home and get it out, doesn't seem like much when you are buying for 3 kids! I bought myself one shirt, it's funny how we just don't buy ourselves as much anymore! I did splurge and buy myself some outdoor pillows and cushions, which I am so in love with, I will post pics when I get them all out, they were a bargain! We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, which was so good! We like to eat places we don't have around here when we go somewhere. We had the chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake, good!! Then we did more shopping and on our way out of town we stopped at Las Cabos, which was great too! Tristan and Eric went to Little Rock for a baseball camp and had a really great time too.
Me, Jenn, and Stacy outside the Cheesecake Factory

Today we went to church, which was really good, I am enjoying these last couple of services about the Trinity. Then we had lunch at La Fiesta with the kids and then Madi and I grocery shopped, and now we have been working on the bathroom, well Eric has, I have been helping the couch stay on the ground! I guess I was tired from all that shopping!! I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend and I hope you all have a blessed week!
These two crack me up sometimes, Tristan just lets Coop crawl all over him.
A sweet kiss on the head, ahh!
Coop just loves Tristan!
Sweet little Madi.
I almost forgot to put this on here! Ummm, good!!

Just a Post

I felt the need to post, even though I really have nothing exciting to tell. It was a beautiful day today, so sunny and nice outside. Can't wait for those days to stick around all week long! Everyone at our house is doing good, everyone is well, which is good. We are making progress with our bathroom, hopefully I will have pics soon of a finished room! This sounds kind of like a "hick", but the kids love the new tiolet!!! My dad has been hanging crown molding and I painted the ceiling, which if you need an arm workout, that is what you need to do, my arms are so sore. I do want to apologize to Mrs. SM, she had to come into the madness we call home right now, I couldn't leave you outside, I will have you back when it is all finished!! I really was embarrassed!! She brought me something I so didn't need.....but thank you!!!! Love them!!
It was so nice and warm today, I decided to go out and buy one of these... this is on my top 2 list of candles. It's a Tyler candle and it is called Pineapple Crush, it just screams summer to me.
This is just a little snapshot of my Coopster, I had to wake him up from his nap to go get Tristan today, I think he needs a haircut too!
Prayers are with someone special tonight... thinking of you...

Toothpaste...

Isn't it funny how when they are 2, they just love to brush their teeth, but then somewhere in time they hate it?? Atleast that is the way it is at our house, I have to threaten the oldest to do it or put more effort into it, but this little guy, he is ready all the time. He just used just a little too much toothpaste...
We had to tell him he had a little left on his chin...
I think he was thinking, that if I close my eyes, she won't notice when she walks by???
This look was, but mom, I am just trying to clean the cabinet top!
This was the look of maybe if I look sweet, she won't be mad???
