Lamp Love

It's February, the month of Love, well I have a love for lamps!! Anyone that knows me, knows I have several! I found some at Kirkland's recently that I have looked at 3 times now and finally decided to purchase them! I brought them home today and Eric said "that is what you bought???", "they don't look like you!"....I wonder what I look like??? I think he thinks I am dark and gloomy!!! Ha!!!

They are not what I typically am drawn too, but I Love them!!! They may get some tweaking, but I really think I am going to like them!

I have a very "eclectic" style in my house, so I will make them work, for sure!!! They may get new shades or some tassels hanging from them real soon.... :)

I also found this in a drawer this week, it was still wrapped in tissue paper from when I bought it! But what is funny about it, is that this past Sunday at church we had a guest speaker named Dr. Charles Lowery, and he was so, so, so good and funny! In my notes he had said "The most important things in life...Faith, Family, & Friends. I thought it was strange that I found this and he had spoke about it...just a little reminder from God I assume!!! :) Love it!!!

Prayers going up for some special friends this weekend...I hope one of you rests up and takes it easy...I hope one of you takes some time for herself and family...and one that has a hubby that needs prayers. Thinking and Praying for all of you!!!
Happy Weekend!!!

A Much Needed Girls Night Out

I know I haven't been around much for the month of January, hopefully I will be better in February! I haven't felt like blogging to be quite honest! Anyways, I did get out of the house Friday night to celebrate Mandi's birthday!!! Which was fun!
The Birthday Girl!!!
We all got to ride together, which always make it more fun, you know!!! We went to eat at Chili's, had cupcakes from Simply Sweets, which should be called "Simply To Die For", they are wonderful!!!!!

Stacy, Mandi, & Brandy

Shannon, Tonia, & Me

After dinner we went to the movies, where I thought Stacy was going to have a throw down with some teenage girls!! Ha, just kidding!!! They were very rude during the movie though! I hope my kids never act that disrespectful out in public. Other then that, us girls had a great night out, much needed too!!!

New Year's Eve 2011

We rang in the New Year with the Carter's having dinner at Sho Gun's and an awesome dessert that Stacy made and we played Bump, it's a marble game. Me and Stacy lost every single time, which I totally don't understand, but it's fun! We had a great evening with them! :-)

Christmas 2011-Part 2

On Christmas day we have lunch and open presents at Eric's family. Here are a few pictures from the day!
Madi with her crayon maker.

Tristan with his big airplane. And his new hat that he won't take off, it's just lovely!

Madi with her American Girl doll...

We sent this doll back, it wasn't what we ordered. But she was pretty!

Coop with his new bulldozer. He is set up with new equipment.

Opening his new scooter.

Now we are at my parent's house Christmas night, and he still has on the hat!

Cousin Weston

Me and my grandparents, notice my Papa holding the doll...

These two got pickles for Christmas! They love pickles!

Kylie, Tristan, Weston, and Coop

They all danced, including Aunt Kyle (Coop calls him that)

And they danced some more and sang, really loud....

We have so much fun when we all get together, there are so many kids! Between me and my brother there are 8 kids and they were all there!

We had a great Christmas this year! I have packed up all the decorations and am starting to get the house back to normal!

Christmas 2011-Part 1

For the first time in years we actually had a pretty low key Christmas!!! Which we loved, for the most part, I am one of those that likes "tradition", it bothers me when they change! But it was nice not to have to run from one house to another this year, getting to enjoy our families a little more. Here are some pics of our Christmas!

Christmas morning, a little sleep deprived at 5:30am!!! :)

Santa came!!!

Slow down, mom can't see what your getting!!!! It's like done in 5 minutes!!!

RC car, he was saving for it, but Santa surprised him! :)

All this little boy wanted was a dumptruck and backhoe, Santa delivered!

All this sweet little girl wanted was an iPod! :)

The forced picture in front of the tree!! Are they smiling, they look a little stiff?!?!

I think they were all happy with what they got, makes me happy!!! :)

Introducing Ella!!!!!

We have a new addition to our little family. We finally got a puppy!!! I have wanted a YorkiePoo for a while now, but really wasn't sure I was ready for another dog. This little puppy came along at the right time though, and we decided to go for it!
This is Ella!!

She is a black YorkiePoo, with a little bit of gray??? Three kids may be giving her gray hair??!!

If you come to our door, this is how she will greet you, she thinks everyone wants to rub her tummy!!!

Here she is on Christmas morning with her new flower bow!!! Oh, and her rhinestone dog bone charm!! Even girl dogs need some bling!!!

She is fitting in with our little family just wonderfully and we are so glad we got her!!!!
