Our First ER visit

Well we had our first ER visit at this house, pretty good since we have three kids and the third one is the first to have to go. Hopefully we won't make habit of it. It all began Sunday night around 9:30 when Cooper and Madi climbed in bed with me to watch tv, they were still for awhile, probably a few minutes to be exact, then they started jumping on the bed, mostly Coop. I told him to stop he was going to get hurt, so he sat back down, then back up again he went jumping, I really don't know why it is so fun anyways, we have one of them memory foam mattresses, so really there isn't much spring to the bed??? Anyways, he finally layed down beside me all covered up watching tv, so I got up to get a bottle of water, and well you can tell where the rest of the story is going, he decided to jump and he fell and hit his head on the footboard of the bed. Tristan was the first on the scene and he was crying and yelling saying "Coop is bleeding Dad", so Eric ran in there, and I here "what in the world happened???", so I ran and there was blood everywhere, looked like his head had been cut with a knife!! Very scary, but we cleaned it up some, but it wouldn't quit bleeding so we decided to go to the ER. Luckily our visit wasn't very long, about an hour at 11pm on a Sunday night. They didn't do stitches, just cleaned it out good, put three pieces of tape on it and glued it. He is doing good except for the fact you can't get it wet, hard to wash hair on a 2 year old without getting their face wet!

So sweet looking, I mean how could he ever not mind??? Maybe he will quit jumping on the bed now, but I doubt it!!!

A pic of our wound, he may look like he has a unibrow??? It will probably scar they said, but he will grow out of it for the most part.

So I guess we are pretty lucky that this was our first visit to the ER and I hope our last!

Pool Party!!!

Well the "lunch bunch" had their first pool party today!! I say the lunch bunch, because usually we girls have lunch at La Fiesta when the kids are in school, but since they are out we added 16 little kids to our lunch date!!! We decided we all wanted to see each other through the summer, so we are still committed to lunch, just not at a restuarant!! I enjoyed all of you so much and I think the kids had a great time too!!! Here are some pics from our day!!!

The original "lunch bunch". Mandi , Miss E, me, Tonia, Shania, Shannon, and Stacy

Easto- I am sure he missed his "Pooper", he was at grandma's house due to a cut on the head he couldn't get wet, more on that story later!!

Cute little Evan, he said "no pictures please", could that be because mom is a photographer???

Litte Miss E enjoying a sugar cookie!!

Miss Lily

Ok, this was just funny, those are those things that catch balls, and he was wearing them as shoes with the ball on it!!! Too cute!!

They are nine, so this was the best I could get, noone wants to be serious!

This pic just makes me feel like they are getting too old, just hanging out talking....

Little wave pool going on, the water was rolling over the edge....

Shannon and Tonia

Good girl talk going on as always...

Stacy

My Tristan- didn't want to take this pic, but I made him!

Buddy- poor thing the big boys kept knocking him off of the shark, but he was a trooper and kept getting back on!

I love this pic of EW, I don't know if he was mad or what???

We had an awesome day together and I can't wait to do it again!!! I think I missed a pic of some kiddo's, I will try next time to get all of them, they wouldn't be still!!!

I am so blessed to have such a great group of friends, I just love all of you!!!!

Cold Ice Tea

      Hello Friends,
The ice tea will be waiting...
and the lounge chairs.....

and the table is set....

we might have pizza for dinner on the good china...

or we might eat by candlelight, but still pizza....

there will be pretty flowers to look at as we dine....

and if you get hot, you can sit under the umbrella....

I think I am ready to entertain for the summer!!!

I so wish Mrs. Walker would have taken these pics, there was a glare on them for some reason, and her pics just make everything so much prettier!! Oh well, you get the idea of what it looks like! I might just have to get a better camera, any suggestions???

Looking forward to a pool party soon!!!

Closet Case

Well we have a closet case at our house, it's really embarassing to be quite honest....anyways you know that little sweet "princess" I speak of on here, well she has a major problem with her closet.
This is it.....speaks for itself, doesn't it??? This is a walk in closet keep in mind, don't know where you would walk in, maybe it should be a "climb in" closet???

Hey, there is a vaccum laying there, maybe we should just suck it all up???

Ok, the boxes there, they are my fault, I will take that one, I don't want to climb in the attic when it's 98 outside!

Do any of you mom's know what I mean here??? I mean what the heck happened in here??? There could be a dead cat in there for all I know, we don't have a cat, so I hope not, but I'm just sayin'!!

Anyways, I guess we have a little project to do now, not that I don't have a list of them anyways, but we might find some valuable goods down under all of that stuff! So wish me luck and hopefully I will come back with pics of a neat, clean, princess closet!!!

Simple Day

It's just me and the boys today, and I think we will go buy some more flowers for the deck!! Might not be what they have in mind, but they will benefit later when they can play in the pool while I plant them!!

I am sending a prayer up for the oil spill......everyone and everything involved in it, people being affected by it, the coast line, please lord let them find a way to stop it......

Madison's Preschool Graduation

Well my Madi girl graduated from preschool last night! It was a great night for the kids. They all did so good and were well behaved. I can't believe that she is fixing to go to kindergarten!!! It just seems like yesterday she was born!! She is such a big girl though and is ready for this new adventure in her life. I like to think I am a "whoo hoo" mommy, but I have my moments when I start to tear up just thinking about her being so big.

Daddy, Madi, and Mom sitting waiting for it to start.

The graduating class, there were 35 graduates, I think there were 10 boys!!!

Me and Madi outside afterwards.

One more of Madi and Evan, you know just in case they get married we want lots of pics of them!!

Madison's Cake- we had cake and ice cream afterwards, Tristan didn't get to join us for the evening, because he had a baseball game, so we missed having him there...

Madi with the cake, she was so excited about this whole night, I hope it was memorable for her....I know it was for mommy.

And last but not least, this was her self portrait form school.

We enjoyed the evening very much with this little girl, I can't wait for many more memories to be made from school and fun times with her friends.

Madison you are a joy to be with, your laugh, your smile, your sweetness, if only I could bottle it up and have you stay this way forever. I love you my Madi girl, you are a gift from God and we love you so much!!
Love,
Daddy, Mommy, Tristan, and Cooper

Bathroom Redo

Well I think I am finally done with the bathroom!! There are a few little things to be fixed, but I went ahead and took pics. So here it is before and after....
Before with all it's gold chains and sea shell sinks....

And let's not forget the grape wallpaper!!
So pretty......Ha!!
And here is the after!!!! Be gone gold chains with globes hanging on them, I do however still have them if anyone is interested in them!!
We stained the cabinets almost black, new knobs, new cabinet top, sinks, faucets, mirrors, crown molding, baseboards, and even a new tiolet!!
Little table and lamp in entry.
New shower "drapes", I just used drapes I had instead of buying something, I added the gold fringe.
I think it turned out pretty good, I am going to put it to rest for now and work on something else.
I hope you enjoy the pics, it is very hard work to redo a house, but very rewarding when you see a finished product.
