Vacation in Destin

Here are a few more picture's of our trip....
The pool at our complex.

Madi at the pool. They loved the pool.

Cooper at the pool.

Coop was getting really tired here.

But he found in himself to sing us a country song!!

Easto, this just makes me laugh everytime I look at it!!!

A family picture.

Jenn, me, and Stacy-with Peyton in the background

Braxton and Tristan at the  Lucky Snapper

Cooper at the Lucky Snapper, it was a really good restuarant, but so hot!! It had open windows all around, no air!

This was the view out the windows though, very pretty!

Destin

Good Morning!!! Well we made it back from our vacation safe and sound! I was physically exhausted when we got home, but after a good day of rest I think I am good. We spent 7 days in sunny Destin, Florida with the Carter's, Leonard's, and the Walker's joined us for a couple of days too!! So much fun!!!
This pic was outside the Lucky Snapper where we ate one night, thought it just looked neat!

The kids patiently waiting for the golf cart to take them to the beach.
The sun is in my eyes mom.....
My little Coopster, he was a trooper on the beach, but we had our moments!
Madi and Easton at the edge of the water for the first time.
Tristan, again, mom my eyes, I think he has eyes, never opened them for a picture though???
Playing in the sand under the tent, which was a life saver!!!
Easton and Coop busy, busy, busy....
Coop buried in the sand.
And finally, we fell asleep on the beach in the sand...he did this two of the days we were out there. He didn't like the water for the first three days we went to the beach, but finally on Friday he decided he liked it!! Go figure!
I have so many pics I will have to do several posts!

Madison's Baseball Party

We hosted Madison's tee ball party at the house yesterday afternoon and it was hot outside!!!! I think I had a sweat mustache the whole time!!! But the kids were cool in the pool!!! We had a geat time and the little kids have had a great year for their first year of tee ball, Coach Josh did great with them!! It takes some patience with a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds, trying to teach them what to do and not to do on the field....
The cake, umm good!!!
The tee ball team with coach Josh. I took several of these, but as you can imagine, there was always someone not looking, with their mouth open, something!! But their all still cute!

Here is my little tee ball girl, who had a bad case of swimmers ear, but we managed to stuff cotton in her ear, and she had strick orders to not get it wet!!
A sea of floaties was in the pool!
I think this is Ty going off the slide and Landen standing beside it.
And here is Landan Nelms with his tube going down the slide, later he became a professional nerf water gun shooter, getting everyone in sight!
Camden and Corbyn
Some of the great parents on the team trying to stay cool in the shade.
Amber, Ashley, and Jennifer
And here is Lily and Madi having ice cream in the shade.

It was a great party and I hope everyone enjoyed it!!

Master Bedroom

I finally took some picture's of our bedroom, and although I am not really happy with the quality of them I am going to post them. There are still some things to fix, but they may never get done, if you know what I mean?!?!
This is what we started with, the color was not terrible, just kind of bland for my taste.
And this is that wall now, it is a pale blue gray color, which Eric thinks looks like a nursery! I still have mixed emotions about the color, but for now it will stay.
Here is the french doors, with faux leather curitans, lovely!!!
And here it is now, I left the curitans closed because the pics had a glare on them when open.
This wall has given me fits.....
I ended up putting these metal things on it, but I see a mirror in it's future???
Ignore the ugly oak door... doors are being ordered as we speak....and the ugly floor, there is nothing wrong with it, just don't like the color, so for now it stays.
It is not a huge room, which meant my dresser did not have a spot, which means I am lacking some major storage, yuck!! I think it has turned out like I thought it would, the color has just thrown me for a loop, I usually pick gold's, red's, and brown's on the walls. And it really is prettier in person, I think I just need to break down and get a new camera if I am going to do this blog thing! Ha! Now on to the super duper small bathroom, you know the kind, you can take a shower, use the tiolet, and brush your teeth at the sink all at the same time!!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Happy 4th of July to everyone!!! We celebrated yesterday at our house with a family bar-b-q. I was so glad we were blessed with rain yesterday, but I had one upset little girl that really wanted to go to the square for the "festival" as she kept saying, just as it stopped raining our guests arrived, so maybe next year!
We placed flags everywhere this year, was feeling a little festive this year!
This was as good as it gets with a picture of all three, he just doesn't want to cooperate!
Tristan and Madi Bell with their festive outfits.
He would not look at me, I think he was doing it on purpose....
We finally got the water to work on the slide, and it is like a waterfall now, it gushes off of there, which means the kids do too!!
Weston
Papa George and Grandma
Aunt Angela
Lexi and her friend had a blast with these water guns, needless to say, they ganged up on the boys big time!
Kylie
Coop decided he wanted to get into the pool, so the big girls would sit him in like this and he was one happy camper, I think I might have found me a babysitter too! The entertained him forever, we had to make them three get out to go watch the fireworks!
Just lounging, too cute!!

We also went to watch the fireworks, and I must say that Greenwood did an awesome job again this year!!!

I hope everyone has a great day with family and friends, we are so blessed to have this independence day!!!
